As I see it, there is a moral hazard to me ridiculing other people' activities as meaningless or time-wasting. After all, I'm writing something pretty much every day about professional baseball, which is a kids game played by adults. And in a overly depressing sense, someday the sun is going to explode and our planet will become a charred orb with nobody left, and nothing we do today will matter anyway.
Still ... I don't get this. Good thing I don't have to.

ReplyDeleteThese leisure activities are there for our relaxation and enjoyment, not to be forever angry. And to take our mind off these major collisions we cannot do a thing about.
