Not good. @RockCats Buxton and Kvasnicka collide, both diving. Both still down minutes later. Calling for cart. pic.twitter.com/Yl5rbQxIXz

The game was delayed more than a half hour while Buxton was stabilized and loaded onto an ambulance to be taken to the hospital. Right fielder Mike Kavsnicka, a Minnesotan himself (Lakeville and the University of Minnesota), also went to the hospital but was walking.
Terry Ryan, the Twins general manager, was at the game. He went to the hospital with Buxton and Kavsnicka and later was on the RockCats radio broadcast:
Just had Terry Ryan on air and concussion for Byron Buxton and bruised hip for Kvasnicka. Both will be fine.

It's scary stuff for Buxton and the Twins. The kid -- Buxton is 20 -- has had a lost season, and I wouldn't expect him to pop back into the lineup this weekend.
